World Masters Athletics Indoor Championships

Alachua County is centrally located in Florida, providing several airports that are accessible to the area. Gainesville Regional Airport offers connections to Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas/Ft. Worth, and Miami.
The WMACi25 Local Organizing Committee will provide airport/hotel transportation support services at a cost servicing the Gainesville Regional Airport and the Orlando International Airport. The LOC will have transportation servicing select hotels and the primary venue, which will be available to anyone purchasing a transportation pass. Athletes and guests booking through the LOC housing provider will receive a free transportation pass. The LOC will provide free transportation between the primary and secondary facilities.

Qualifications for Entry:
The 2025 WMA Indoor Championships in Gainesville are open only to men and women who were born on or before 23 June, 1990, and who are physically fit.

Entry signifies that each competitor will follow the rules laid down by the technical and organizing committees. WMA has the right to reject entries of athletes considered ineligible through misconduct or other disciplinary matters.

An athlete must be a citizen of the country they will represent, or they must have been a resident of that country for a minimum of three (3) years.

If an athlete has represented a different country at a previous WMA World Championship or Regional Championship, they must have change-of-allegiance paperwork on file with WMA at least 30 days before the entry deadline (https://world-masters-athletics.org/change-of-allegiance/)

Individual events are divided into our standard 5 year age groups, starting at M & W35-39.
Entering the Championships does not require any specific level of performance or personal best, as there are no qualifying standards required.

To Join the AUSTeam:
You must be aged 35+, be a current financial member of an Australian State or Territory Association, and wear the official Australian Masters uniform during competition. Find the AUS State/Territory contact details here.
