In mid 2023, WMA approached all masters federations asking for an expression of interest in a mixed relay event (4 X 400 and 4 X 800 – 2 men, 2 women) to be included in the main World Athletics Championships to be held in the Bahamas on 4/5th May next year.

At that stage AMA responded that we may be interested in putting in an entry of one each into the following team categories:

4 x 400 Relay: Age 35-44, Age 45-54, Age 55-64, Age 65+

4 x 800 Relay: Age 35-44, Age 45-54, Age 55-64, Age 65+

Update Mar 2024: Unfortunately Masters Teams are not going to be included in this event in 2024. WMA is hopeful that we may be included in this event in the future.
